Day1.
Arrival in Tbilisi Rustaveli airport. Transfer to the Hotel.
Tbilisi tour:
After breakfast meet the guide and have a walking tour in the old City:
Places to visit:
- Abanotbani (sulfur bath district, where your hotel is situated)
- Metekhi Plateau and Metekhi Church of 5th-13th cc, built above the river on a cliff-top;
- Narikala Fortress by the cable car.
- Sharden str. with many cafes, workshops and galleries.
- Sioni Cathedral (6th c) the beating heart of Georgian Orthodoxy;
- Modern glass bridge of Peace.

Day2.Tbilisi-Gori-Uplistsikhe cave town - Stalin museum- Kutaisi
After breakfast drive to the cave town Uplistsikhe. Uplistsikhe - a rocky town, one of the oldest settlements in the Caucasus and the city center. Located in approx. 10 km east of Gori, on the left bank of the river Mtkvari. The walking tour lasts 1 hour. After visit to Stalin museum.
Drive to Kutaisi.
Overnight in Kutaisi.
Day3. Kutaisi-Gelati monastery and academy-(UNESCO site)-Prometheus karst cave- boat trip in Martvili Canyon – Kutaisi
After breakfast visit Gelati, a 12th century monastery. The complex includes three churches, an academy, a wine cellar, the tomb of King David the Builder, spring of the King David along with a bell tower. Then drive to Prometheus karst cave and visit. Finally, departure to Martvili, to take a boat ride in the beautiful gorge of Martvili.
Return to Kutaisi. Overnight in the hotel.
Day4. Kutaisi – agricultural market – Borjomi Park-Rabat fortress (9th-21th cc)-Akhaltsikhe
No one should leave Kutaisi without visiting its colorful market with cheerful and curious sellers. Departure to the beautiful gorge of Borjomi and visit Borjomi Park. Here you can taste the famous Borjomi mineral water. Continue your way to southern Georgia and visit Akhaltsikhe Fortress in Rabat, which consists of historical and modern parts.
Overnight at Akhaltsikhe hotel.
Day5. Akhaltsikhe-Vardzia cave town (12th c)-Bakuriani ski resort
After breakfast departure to Vardzia. Vardzia - a monastic ensemble carved in the rock, a monument of Georgian artistic culture of XII-XIII centuries. Located in historic Javakheti, Aspindza municipality. Md. On the left bank of the Mtkvari. 1300 meters above sea level. After the walking tour visit the monastery and get acquainted with the activities of the nuns.
Drive to Bakuriani, a ski resort surrounded by forests.

Day6. Bakuriani – Mtskheta&Svetitskhoveli cathedral- Ananuri fortress-Gudauri
Go from Bakuriani to Mtskheta. Mtskheta is the ancient capital of Eastern Georgia, which is included in the list of UNESCO monuments. Visiting the most beautiful and holiest cathedral of Georgia, Svetitskhoveli. Then travel to northern Georgia. On the way visit the most beautiful fortress of Ananuri. Continue the road to Gudauri ski resort, where you will spend the night.
Day7.Gudauri-Kazbegi-Jvari church-Tbilisi
After breakfast departure to Kazbegi. Several stops along the way to see the beautiful views of nature. Delika-tour in Gergeti Trinity Church, which overlooks Kazbegi and provides amazing views of the high Caucasian mountains. If you are lucky and the good weather coincided, you will see the beautiful 5047 m peak, Kazbegi. Departure to Tbilisi. On the way visit the UNESCO monument, the Church of the Cross. Thanks to its ancient architecture, amazing location and beautiful views.
Arrive in Tbilisi. Overnight in the hotel.
Day8. Tbilisi-David Gareji monastery- wine tasting at BIO winery – Signagi
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Eastern Georgia, the main region of winemaking. David Gareji is a stone-built monastery located in a semi-desert. Visit Lavra and then travel to Sighnaghi, a charming 18th century townlet. Wine tasting with bio-wine producers. A small excursion into the history and peculiarities of Georgian wine.
Overnight in Signagi.
Day9. Signagi-Bodbe Nunnery - tour and masterclasses in Bread baking in the Kakhetian wine cellar-Tsinandali museum –Telavi
After breakfast visit to Bodbe Convent, where enlightener of Georgia, St. Nino is resting. Continuation of the tour in one of the villages, in the historic wine cellar, an excursion and master classes in bread baking (Kakhetian shot) will be planned. The next landmark will be Tsinandali - the beautiful garden and palace of Alexander Chavchavadze, Georgian prince and poet.
Overnight in Telavi.
Day10. Telavi- all day culinary tour in the local family –Telavi
Visit the local family and have the masterclasses of some of Georgian food. Tasting the dishes prepared by you. The dinner will be attended by a group of Georgian singers who will perform Georgian polyphonic songs. Overnight in Telavi.
Day11. Telavi-Qvevri workshop –Tbilisi
After breakfast visit the Qvevri maker. Qvevri is a wine jar buried in the ground for the wine storing. Visit the Qvevri workshop, then the clay burning building and after taste the wine and chacha(grape alcoholic drink), made in Qvevri.
Drive to Tbilisi.
Overnight in Tbilisi.
